Bandai Namco shares new information from Code Vein

The game will feature a great customization system for heroes

As scheduled, Bandai Namco revealed new information about Code Vein in the latest issue of the Dengeki PlayStation. As you will remember, this RPG will be set in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by vampires, and will focus primarily on exploring dungeons. The title will be developed by the team behind God Eater, so you will have the experience of such creatives as Keita Iizuka, Yusuke Tomizawa and Hiroshi Yoshimura.

Regarding the new information, the team of Bandai Namco mentioned that the world where the game will be developed was destroyed by an undisclosed cause. The RPG will put us in the role of the Revenant, humans who lost their memory and who in turn became vampires. The adventure of Code Vein will be to clarify the mystery behind the cataclysm that ended the world where the game is set.

Also, the developers confirmed that it will be possible to customize our protagonist. So we can choose their gender, as well as modify the different features of their anatomy. Code Vein will provide players with great exploration opportunities as well as freedom regarding our character's development in combat skills and style. The RPG will have different locations, each with specific enemies and mechanics.

In Code Vein, the concept of death will not exist, because even after your character falls into combat, your partner can continue to explore the post-apocalyptic world. According to the developers, the title will not focus on the difficulty, but that does not mean that it will lack a good level of challenge. The RPG will debut worldwide in 2018; However, Bandai Namco has not revealed the exact release date nor the systems in which Code Vein will be available.
